At Speers Health Clinics, we offer direct billing of our physiotherapy services through various insurance companies, and now we also offer direct billing for Alberta Blue Cross members, including employer group plan members.
We are able to submit claims electronically, in real-time, for Alberta Blue Cross plan members through an easy-to-use secure web site created and maintained by Alberta Blue Cross. The online claim submission allows us to submit claims instantly for our patients with Alberta Blue Cross coverage. Also, these plan members are not required to pay out-of-pocket for claims beyond their portion, then wait to be reimbursed. Please note, plan members are still responsible for payment of any co-pay or deductible amounts.
